Virgin Coconut Oil, 2 tbsp.
1 tbsp Herbal butter
1 tbsp. Beeswax
Oil of Sweet Orange, 3–5 drops
Natural colorant, 1-2 drops (optional)
Method:
Here is a simple, step-by-step recipe for making homemade lip balm that you can complete in a short amount of time.
Beeswax, Sheabutter, and Coconut oil are measured in a beaker.
By adding 1-2 inches of water to a large saucepan, create a double boiler, and then bring the water to a boil.
Put the glass measuring cup containing the ingredients in the middle of the saucepan once the water has boiled.
As soon as everything is melted, stir occasionally.
Remove from heat once all the ingredients have melted, then let it stand for two to three minutes.
Now stir in the Sweet Orange essential oil.
Mixture should be poured into containers. Don’t fill it too high.
Before capping lip balm, let it cool for 18 to 20 hours.
Apply twice daily for best results.
