Description

Turmeric a popular flowering plant of the ginger family, Zingiberaceae, and native to Southeast Asia and the Indian Subcontinent. Turmeric roots are used in cooking and are a rhizomatous, herbaceous, and perennial plants. In east Asia, the flowering time is usually in August. Turmeric essential oil is widely used in aromatherapy as turmeric powder includes a great composition about 60–70% carbohydrates,5–10% fat, 6–8% protein and 1–6% curcuminoids, dietary minerals, essential oils, dietary fiber, and water. it has anti-allergic, anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, anti-fungal and anti-parasitic qualities.
