CONSTITUENTS	:	Saffron contains the carotenoids crocin and crocetin, which are responsible for the reddish orange color of the stigmas. The stigmas also contain the aromatic essential oil safranal. Other constituents of saffron are cineol and pinene, as well as the substance picrocrocin (saffron bitters). Saffron is also high in thiamine and riboflavin.

Description

· Safflower oil is extracted by cold expression of the seeds to produce a pale-yellow oil with little odour very similar to sunflower oil.

· The safflower plant has a long history of use and interestingly safflower seeds have been discovered in Egyptian tombs. It’s used medicinally for poor circulation, bruising, sprains, inflammation, and having the potential to strengthen immunity to a greater degree.

· It can enhance blood flow, regulate it, and reduce the blood sugar level. It can eliminate the excessive fat.

Storage: It is recommended that cold-pressed carrier oils be kept in a cool, dark place to maintain freshness and achieve maximum shelf life. If refrigerated, bring to room temperature before using.
