Description:

Babassu carrier oil is extracted through the seeds of babassu palm mainly found in South America (Brazil). The oil is extremely rich in lauric and myristic acid, and also very good for cosmetic and beauty products. Meanwhile, Babassu has antioxidant properties and contains healthy fats which make it good for hair and skin health. In Brazil, the Babassu plant is used for different purposes including cooking and medicine.

Color: White solid oil.

Aromatic Description: Babassu Carrier Oil has very little scent characteristic of most carrier oils.

Common Uses:

Best for both dry and oily skin, because it works as a perfect emollient.
It’s best for many skincare products such as soaps, creams, lip balm.
Good for hair care products

Shelf Life: It has an expected life of 24 months in a cool and dry place.
